  I am an American living in China and I travel quite a lot. I mention that because I do know I can stay in "Chinese" hotels in Hong Kong for a lower price with more service included. However I was traveling with my girlfriend and wanted to stay in a hotel with a great location and not worry about the quality issues. This is that hotel. It is very close to the ferry and the subway. Not to mention the great pool and HUGE number of restaurants within walking distance. Also this hotel is very clean and the maid service took good care of our room. We did not eat in the hotel restaurants but did have some room service and that was typical hotel room service (enough said about food). The room could have used some updating. The bathroom really did need some updating but it was clean. Additionally the room carpet was matted down in a few places and I was not really happy with the carpet. The big problem for me was the amount the hotel charges for internet access. I do not have a problem paying a small fee for internet usage but considering the price of the room I really expect to have free internet access. I get free internet at every coffee shop in Hong Kong but I would prefer to have it in my expensive slightly dated room. Overall a good hotel...with a great pool, but the fitnss center is in the hotel next door and the pool is shared with that hotel also.

  We picked this hotel by price and location at last minute. The location was great, centrally located for ferries, shopping, and local transportation. Rooms were just okay, average size but carpet needed upgrading. Pool was nice and easy to get to, but breakfast by the pool was a little expensive! We had just come from the Wynn's Hotel in Macau which is five star and it was a litttle let down. Beds were a little hard, too. Overall, it was okay and a good value and I'd stay there again, but nothing special.
