The hotel itself is friendly and nice enough. It features a lovely, but small rooftop pool and gym. The suites are very nice and spacious with a nice lounge. There is very limited to no view of the harbor. The lounge was in the process of being updated the last time I stayed here, so they may have added additional meeting areas. If not, then the meeting space is rather limited. There tends to be many weddings on weekends which can lead to a rather crowded lobby. Food selection in the hotel is minimal. Food quality at the buffet is decent. For the price of the hotel you can get 2 nights at the Royal Garden in Mong Kok, get a room with a view and enjoy just as nice accommodations. The food in Mong Kok is better than TST as well, with a fantastic first floor buffet. Granted Mong Kok isn't as centrally located for some businesses, but it is located right next to the ladies market and is in a good tourist region. It is only 2 blocks from the MTR which can take you anywhere. The Royal Garden in Kowloon is at least 4-5 blocks from an MTR station. It is however close to the train expansion which makes for easy travel to the mainland. All in all it isn't worth the extra cash however.
